About Association
This Association is a nonprofit organization based in Costa Rica.
Our group is
multicultural and composed of heart-centered people
dedicated to enriching seniors’ lives through
education, support, and resource networking.
We encourage elders
to experience aging with confidence and optimism,
and we motivate them to improve and maintain
their creativity and productivity
despite any mental or physical challenges
that frequently arise as we age.
MISSION STATEMENT
To provide resources that enable seniors to reach their highest human potential throughout aging and transform the belief that growing older leads to obsolescence.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to inspire seniors to be their most healthy, happy, and creative selves during their later years and to provide the tools to enable them to make this a reality.
Our goals
- Endorse holistic approaches to attending to the individual elder; mind, body, emotions, and spirit.
- Promote beneficial health practices while working towards emotional/mental and spiritual wellbeing.
- Offer direct assistance to seniors through on-line and in-person mentoring, training workshops, innovative information on aging, and referrals to professionals and individuals willing to help.
- Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) educational information on aging and conduct training sessions for the elders, their families, and their communities.
- Collaborate and partner with community, governmental, and private organizations working with elders and create a network of human, institutional, and business resources both within local communities and on an international scale.
